Not sure if this should be in beauty or skincare but I do think it's important!
For the last couple months I've been on Adderall, and I'm sure other Beautylishers may be on this medicine as well. Some research on the Internet has found that many people find this med can cause acne. Nobody wants acne but for some people this med really truly helps them in daily life.
Since I've been on Adderall I've found MY skin actually improved. Here's why I believe this happened: First of all drink LOTS of water. I drink at least 100 ounces a day if not more. Adderall will leave you more dehydrated then usual.
Second, get plenty of sleep. Your skin needs proper rest to rejuvenate itself. Adderall can cause insomnia. In order to avoid this take your dosage as early as possible and not more then you are prescribed. Taking a dosage of vitamin c before bed helps to speed up the drug leaving your system and helps me sleep great! Also prevents too much of the drug building up if you take it daily.
Eat healthy! Since I've been on Adderall my diet has improved. I'm naturally thin and since Adderall is a appetite suppressant it can cause weight loss. You should not use the medication for this purpose. I find eating too much in one sitting causes naseua on this med. I have been eating lots of smaller meals throughout the day. My diet is filled with fresh veggies, whole grains and lots of protein. I snack on almonds, incorporated eggs and avocado into my diet more, eat lots of spinach. These foods also help while on the medication because of their l-tyrosine content.
Finally I've been taking lots of vitamins. Magnesium/zinc/calcium supplement before bed, b complex, and recently fish oil. Of course talk to your doctor before starting any new vitamins or supplement! I discussed all with my doctor before starting.
If anyone has anything to add please do!

I've also had a similar experience also I've noticed that my hair has improved a lot with strength I've found my skin gets a little more dry form it so I've started to add a thicker body cream to my night routine:)
