I'm not a pro, but I am a consumer, so maybe this will help from a different perspective. As a bride, I agree that it would be totally overwhelming to have two different looks or even half a face of makeup. I would honestly end up going with someone else as I wouldn't be able to be sure if what was done really matched my vision. My best friend is getting married in a few months, and I know she's all over the place with her makeup. I think part of going to a pro, is having someone that you can give a basic idea to and they can bring that to life. Hope this helps a bit?
