I've been using a knockoff clarisonic for a while and I've been thinking about buying the real deal. but I'm not sure if I wanna get that or the pmd. has anyone used either of them and does one work better than the other?

It really depends on your needs. Is your problem active acne or hyper pigmentation? Those are the main thing the Clarisonic and PMD are targeted at. The Clarisonic is supposed to clean out your pores, help with texture, and prevent future breakouts. The PMD is for preventing and helping hyper pigmentation at scarring. Good luck choosing!

I absolutely love my Clarisonic, it's the best investment I've made for my skin. It gives such a deep clean and that really helps with allowing serums, moisturizers, and spot treatments to really sink into the skin. I highly recommend it!

I have the clarisonic Mia 2 and I absolutely love it. I did so much research before I decided to buy it because it's a lot of money even with an employee discount lol. I've had acne since I was in fourth grade and in the three months I've been using it my skin has cleared up SO MUCH. I'm comfortable leaving the house without a full coverage foundation now!! I love mine so much I bought my boyfriend one for Christmas and he loves it too! If you do decide to go with the clarisonic get the Mia 2. It is sooo worth the extra money. When you first get it you're going to want to scrub your face off because one minute feels like nothing. The timer and sensitive setting on the Mia 2 will prevent you from making your skin super sensitive. Look for the limited edition ones at ulta that come with a bonus brush head and cleanser. There's a radiance one out right now.

Clarisonic all the way! Had mine for 3 1/2 years and don't know how I lived without for so long. Completely worth the price. You have to be really careful without knockoffs because they don't have the sonic pulses that Clarsonic offers; in the long run a knockoff is going to damage your skin.
The only problem I have had with my Clarisonic was trying to find the right brush head; I use the delicate. But, if you aren't using what is right for your skin, then it can cause some irritation. Other than that, I've haven't had any issues.
