What kind of exercise are you doing? as far as I'm aware, it's not possible to completely get rid of cellulite, but targeted exercise can for sure reduce the appearance.

You need a combo of cardio to burn body fat and weights to tighten the muscle. If it's bad like mine you might need more than 3x a week - I lift 6 days a week minimum and have been for about 8 months now. I'm seeing a huge reduction but it's still there. There's no quick fix for it unfortunately. It sucks :(

I do weights, cardio (stationary bike, elliptacle, walking uphill on treadmill). I also do squats and lunges. I do have an injured knee, so running and jogging is out of the picture. Thanks for all of the advice ladies!!

What you do sounds good, especially lunges and squats should help. There are these two machines and I haven't got the slightest idea what they are called but you sit on both of them and on one you put your legs up on a piece and have to push them down, on the other one you start having them down and have to press them up. If you do those slowly they work out your upper legs SO intensely, the first time I did them I had to do one of them about 50 times to get it right doing them slowly enough and the next day I literally could not walk stairs I had such a muscle ache. So I'd highly recommend you try those out, they might help speeding up the process. Also make sure to take breaks from working out your legs, so the muscles can recover properly. Personally, I wouldn't worry too much about running, for me personally it never did much, just keep up the weights. :)
I believe that lotions don't really help with cellulite, but I have been using the Yves Rocher lotion for defined legs to support the process and that and of course exercise have really helped me. :)

Don't sit with your legs crossed!! It cuts off the blood flow to your butt giving you cellulite and veiny legs. Also use a coffee scrub on your legs (or whole body, its amazing). Use coffee grounds, green tea, oil of your choice, and a little lemon juice. The caffeine with tighten and firm your skin and it smooths your skin :) Good luck! Make sure you also excersize.

Another thing to remember is that EVERYONE has cellulite - from the thinnest models to the curviest women - we ALL have it somewhere - unless you have zero percent body fat (which is practically impossible) you are going to have cellulite since it's caused by fat getting trapped between your muscle and your skin - that said just try to love your body more and don't worry so much about it - it sounds like you are doing everything right - eating healthy and exercising are the best things for your body - but if you really must try to get rid of it there are creams and gels available from st.ives and Nivea that I've used before that work really well and other brands carry similar products

You can never get rid of cellulite it's a permanent thing, you can reduce the appearance of it by keeping skin hydrated though. I just read this in my Milady Esthetics textbook a few days ago.

Thank you all so much! I'll definitely try that machine out Deborah. And I'll try the coffee scrub too (can't hurt right?) and make sure my skin is moisturized. You are all lovely thanks!!

Yes, we can reduce cellulite with targeted exercise but have you tried reducing cellulite through a cream? I recently read reviews about one Solvaderm brand product Cellmaxa. It dramatically shrinks fat cells to visibly alter and even out the entire skin surface. It gives a much-needed moisture to provide a noticeable plumping effect. Strange! But true..

Does weight lifting exercise makes you masculine..??

^ no it doesn't - if anything it consumes the fat in those areas by increasing muscle mass and muscle takes up less space than fat - weight lifting is an essential part to any workout routine - whether you are losing weight, getting rid of fat, or increasing muscle mass - you need to lift weights as well as do cardio to get a full body workout.

To help get rid of cellulite, and tone your butt, you can follow these simple tips:
Drink Water - Drinking water can help to reduce cellulite, but not for the reason that you normally hear. Water does not flush "toxins" out of your cellulite, or anything else. Water is good for the skin, and can help improve elasticity and make your skin look tighter and younger. This not only makes you look younger, but can help tighten the skin on the thighs and butt.
Exercise - Many so-called "experts" claim that running, biking, and cardio are good ways to get rid of cellulite. While this is partially true, its certainly not the fastest or most effective way to do it. Targeted resistance training can deliver much faster and more noticeable results. It's also more effective at burning fat than doing cardio, contrary to popular belief.
I Tried it myself, and it works great.
