If any of you tried either Make Up Forever HD or Too Faced Born this way foundation. Let me know how they were? Did you like them? I'm torn in between the two. I haven't tried them yet but I want to buy one especially for the summer. Seen some good reviews on both but I want to choose the right one. What are y'all thoughts on these products?

What's your skin type?

I personally wouldn't recommend the Too Faced Born This Way for summer. It's a beautiful foundation, full coverage but looks like skin. But, I notice that it's not the most long wearing/oil controlling foundation I've used. I haven't used rhe MUFE HD so I can't speak on that. I'm sorry, I hope this helps!!

Too faced born this way is more hydrating. It has coconut water which is supposed to hydrating (if you're allergic, stay away) I found this foundation to be VERY full coverage, so I used very little with a beauty blender. The result is beautiful, and it lasts fairly well (until I take it off) but this foundation can be thick and cakey looking if used too much. I wouldn't recommend this for summer.

Makeup forever ultra HD was my favorite. For me it was a satin finish, and looked SO good both in person and in pictures. Sadly I had to stop using it because it has talc (I'm just sensitive to talc) so if you're not sensitive to talc, between the two I would choose mufe for summer.

I think it depends on your skin type. The Born this way foundation is definitely more for dry skin.

The MUFE is for "all skin types" so long as your not very dry or very oily.
I quite like the MUFE HD even though I'm quite oily and quite flaky some days.
It give more of a light to medium/buildable coverage
With a sort of semi matte finish.
For best coverage you really want to avoid using a beauty blender or buffing it in
You kinda just need to dab it on with your fingers then use a synthetic brush to press it in, it doesn't really need much blending
which I think is why it's "HD" whereas other foundations can look good in HD depending on how you apply it (really blending it in)
I find the Ultra HD does last a bit longer compared to the original HD on my oily areas.
It doesn't look so good if you have any flaky skin so if you do just be sure to exfoliate and use a good moisturizer

Actually, if you are more dry I've heard a lot of people like the stick version for drier skin types

The coverage for the born this way is pretty amazing BUT I don't even have oily skin and it made me super super oil. I was like a grease ball!

I got a sample of the too faced one and it was pretty good! But my baby is the Ultra HD, it looks like skin... What a wonderful product and so undetectable and light feeling!

I really hope you come back to your thread to tell us your skin type... A lot of these lovely ladies took time to research and answer your question!
