I keep reading about the benefits of vitamin C serums in skincare regimen. thinking of investing in one. I have oily skin and slight pigmentation due to daily wear and tear and sun exposure. would like a more glowing even complexion. any recommendations? nothing too high end please, like Kate Somerville one. That's way out of the budget lol..thanks!

I been looking at this Paula's choice c15 as well :) Lara could you tell me how the consistency is - watery or gel like? And wauw 2 weeks is awesome to see a change! I had similar experience with the Paula's choice aha treatment - really changed my skin so fast!
Nathalie its okay to disagree with a product recommendations but we do appreciate have a positive attitude to others recommendations - even tho it might not be a recommendation you feel like you can use the users are giving the best help they can and recommend products that has worked for them.

I've heard that the Paula c15 is actually really good.
Another amazing (and expensive) option is skinceuticals c e ferulic. I got a deluxe battle for free when I bought a clarisonic and it really does work. When I run out I planned to buy Paula's version or ask my husband to work an extra shift to buy me the skinceuticals hahahah

Haha Livi ;) I think the husband solution is the best idea - What's what we have them for right ;)
I never heard about Skinceutical! What made it so good? You peaked my curiosity!

Hi Sabrina,
Rozberry had recommended the C15 to me and it is great! you should see the reviews on the site. from what she told me, its free of any fillers so its really great. the consistency is watery and it comes with a dropper. you only need 2-3 drops for your whole face. it spreads well and it dries in like 1 minute. I use vit c morning and every other night and I'm hooked, never going back :P

Rozberry and Kitty always gives the best reviews doesn't they! I use vit c in the morning as well and just ran out of mine so I will definitely get this one!

They're the best! I ordered the c15 with a retinol treatment for 84$ and my skin is glowing. I'd love to know how it works for you!

Oh wow! such unanimous reviews! but it's for $48..can anyone recommend a cheaper option or shall I splurge?

Lara 84 for both the vit c AND the retinol - that is one great deal! I promise you that when I get it I will let you know how I like it! Which retinol do you par it with?
Rida if you can afford it then I say splurge - but if its a bit to pricey you could maybe try the Body Shop vitamin c serum :) I haven't tried it myself but I heard good things about it :)

Its a retinol serum from their Resist line. not sure of the name right now but it is in a silver bottle and they sell both together as a duo!

I've tried the skinceuticals but the smell was honestly awful to me! Made me feel sickly so I hated using it! I've tried a simple vitamin c power serum from Amazon, simple stuff, not got a lot added to it so it's very inexpensive and I've noticed a fantastic improvement in my skin. It's hydrated, even and I've noticed that the texture is much more smooth than before.

I have heard that it isn't the best because the results weren't as good as the one from ost or timeless, and the price was more, that's all. Just wanted to see if anyone had tried something else.

However I wouldn't buy the one from ost because it contains ethanol and oxydizes faster it seems...

I had found some reviews online and this one clearly shows cons for C15: http://www.hotandflashy50.com/vitamin-c-serum-comparison-timeless-paulas-choice-css/
I was trying to find an alternative easier to get in Europe than timeless, but but I did not manage to find other serums that had e and ferulic both and seemed reputable...

The body shop vitamin c skin line. It's AMAZING!

Sabrina, lol I was totally kidding. I don't think I will ever purchase a full size of skinceuticals. It's just not my thing to spend 168? I believe, on something that does not last until I use it up lol. I'll probably try timeless!

I can afford $48 but add to it shipping and delivery charges to Pakistan, it will fly out of my budget :-/ I ordered the Loreal texture perfector too for twice the price and it broke me out n went to waste! so I am a bit wary of spending too much on new products.
body shop is available locally I can start out by that and then get Paula's Choice when I am traveling maybe...thank you guys!! :) xx
