Hi ladies! Please help me with my oily skin, it's absolutely terrible! No matter what products I use my skin is oily within two hours it makes me feel really insecure. I've already tried Becca ever matte, mufe mattifying primer, cover fx and murad oil control and none of them have worked. Currently I use the cover girl 3 in 1 foundation, mufe mattifying primer and the Palladio rice powder but it only lasts about 2-3 hours. So please recommend me your favorite products for oily skin, especially skin care wise. Since I've had no luck with makeup, I want to try new skincare products for oily skin. Currently I use purity facial cleanser, benzaclin, and the Clinique Moisturizer.

It seem like you may be using too many oil free products. As much as we hate it our skin needs oil and all these products might be causing your skin to produce more and more oil to compensate for all the oil your are remove or blocking. Try adding an oil like Jojoba oil. Just a little at night. This will help trick you skin into thinking there is already oil on it and in turns produce less oil.

It sounds like you are stripping your skin of oils. Although it may sound counter intuitive, consider using an oil somewhere in your routine. I was the same way but when I began to use a oil cleanser, it helped so much. I recommend trying the Neutrogena Ultra light cleansing oil. It helps put some moisture back into your skin and cleans really well without, well, stripping the oils.

Thanks you girls so much, all your advice is so helpful! I think I'm going to be purchasing either jojoba oil or a cleansing oil.

I keep some Palladio rice paper tissues in my bag, they are awesome for when I need to blot away some oil around my nose. They have rice powder on them which will absorb excess oil.

I have had really bad oily skin before and I recently found the perfect routine for my skin. Since I have a lot of acne I have a ton of products from the dermatologist that strip my skin of its natural oils to treat the acne. I personally don't use oils on my face because it broke my skin out last time I tried and I also have very sensitive skin but it doesn't hurt to try it.

Skin Care

I wash my face and apply a gel (both from the dermatologist) I wait 10-15 minutes and apply the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream Moisturizer. I use my dermatologist products every other day and then on the other days I use the Cetaphil Cleanser and Moisturizer. Once a week I use the Bosica Oil Control Mask and on another day I use a moisturizing mask(Bosica Hydrating Sleeping Mask, First Aid Beauty Ulta Repair Oatmeal Mask)

Makeup

For makeup I don't use cream products. I use powder products and don't highlight my nose when highlighting cause I feel like I draws attention to my oily nose.

Primer: Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer (best one I've tried and worth the price. Get a small size or sample to test it out)

Foundation: Hourglass Immaculate Liquid to Powder Foundation ( most long lasting Foundation I have found for my oily skin, I usually will blot by the 5th hour and lightly powder and I could probably wait until hour 7 to blot if I really wanted to make it last)

Powder: Rimmel Stay Matte Powder ( been using it for years and always go back to it)

Hope this helps!

There are numerous of ways to tackle oily skin, some of them are simple like using face wipes instead of cloth/napkins, having healthy diet. Real solutions are those which you long lasting results like using Dermpura, a facial cleanser, product of Solvaderm. It helps to vanish dead cells on the skin and also give a oil free glowing skin. I hope it will help you.
