Okay, so I have a bunch of old acne scars and broken capillaries on my cheeks...right now I'm using glycolic acid pads, but I was wondering if there was a more intense way to resurface my skin?

Professional chemical peels, laser treatments. Otc, retinols can help with discolorations & texture, but not for those deep pitted scars. Capillaries have to be professionally treated.

I agree - if you try doing it at home then it will take a long time before you notice results and even then you won't be able to completely eliminate it - going to a pro is your best bet.

I would suggest a everyday glycolic acid cleanser - 3% max and would use a dermaroller. Don't forget to moisturise and exfoliate well because glycolic acid is drying to your skin. You could also look into using mandelic acid peel at home. 20% mandelic acid is probably the highest you should go, it's good for first timers using acid peels. I do this and have noticed a lot of improvement.
