I noticed when I drink water a lot my break outs don't come back as fast. maybe like once a month I get them now. I have eczema too so I know what you go through. it sucks, it's so irritating!
what I do is I try not to take hot showers. I have oil baths every now and then. exfoliate once a week and I use a lotion called Curel. that stuff makes my skin so smooth and soft! it's safe for baby's too. it helps my son's skin he has dry legs and that cleared it right up! My skin is weird. I have to switch up my lotions sometimes. they work, then they don't. But if my skin is very bad and none of my lotions are working I use what my doctor recommend. a cream called Glaxal base and whatever ointment cream he prescribed to me.
Hope I helped??

I have psoriasis and I try to just leave my skin alone (wash it only once a day - and exfoliate with an AHA once a week) and then use jojoba oil as a moisturizer at night and then wash my face with the cetaphil gentle skin cleanser - use a non-alcohol aloe based toner then moisturize with cetaphil moisturizer - doing this for 2-4 weeks depending on the severity of my psoriasis usually helps to make the scales/dry patches go away.

Diana has anyone suggested Evening Primrose oil tablets for your psoriasis? It is what I took that cured me. Took roughly 9 months taking 1 tablet/day but check it with doctor or pharmacist first.

No I've never heard of that - but heck I'll try it - I mean there is no real cute available since it's a genetic disorder - and I only have flare ups in the winter when the weather is dry - and jojoba oil treats it really well for me personally - to the point where it disappears off my face completely but when winter comes again if I'm not careful I'll have a flare up - but I'll try the tablets if I can find some here in Germany - might have to look up the German name for it
