I usually do a powder contour. it's easier and more mayoral looking imo. today I tried doing a cream contour. I used Stila One Step Primecolor in Bronze Baby. I used a foundation brush to apply it and a flat top kabuki brush to blend. what do you think? any suggestions I should try.

It does look really harsh and you almost look like a skeleton with how deep the contours look - honestly you probably shouldn't use a bronzer to contour for this very reason of it not looking natural at all.

Thanks Diana T. I have recently lost weight, I'm sure that's not helping. It's a cooler matte bronzer. that's why I tried it. thanks for your input :)

First off, I love your eye makeup.
I think the color is good. maybe a tiny bit warm for how fair you are but it could be the lighting. to me it looks like a shadow and not a streak of dirt so that's good. it does look dramatic, but cream always looks more dramatic than powder anyways. if I'm trying hard for a critique I'd say that you brought it down just a liiiittle too far towards the lips for my preference (if you like it there's nothing wrong with it). I've found that when I cream contour I have to do the lines a little differently. I'm having a hard time putting this into words so bare with me. lol so when I contour with powder I'll place it where I want the contour to be and then blend it out. when I use cream I'll place it inside of or in a smaller space than where I want the shadow to be and blend it out to where I feel it should be, otherwise the cream just ends up blending into everywhere (probably more about my skills than the actual product to be honest)

@Aleena P. yep, that's exactly what I did. I placed the cream contour where and how I do powder. I'll try your tip next time I cream contour. Thank you so much for the advice

I personally really like it! It doesn't seem harsh at all. It looks blended great into the skin! Great job!

Yours looks way better than my first time cream contouring! It does seem a teeny bit low, but as Aleena was saying if you like it then by all means don't change a thing. Overall it looks good though, good job! Also what is the lip you're wearing? I love it 😍
