My apologies is this is in the wrong category, I put it in skincare for the acne and the care of my stomach.
Anyways, I have 2 underground pimples that are incredibly red and painful. One is on my chin, the other is near my nose. Do you guys know of any quick remedies to help these deflate and go away?

Also, a question for my stomach. I have hair on it, like most ladies, but it's a little dark and it seems noticeable to me. I am very self-conscious about it, but I don't know what to do. I'm worried if I start shaving it then it'd be like my legs where I have to shave every couple days. What do you ladies remove stomach hair?
Thank you!

So I wouldn't suggest shaving the hair off, I would try to ignore if you can but if it really makes you insecure I would pick up a hair bleaching kit made for facial hair and then just bleach your stomach. As far as the pimples I use Aztec bentonite clay which works wonders and then follow up with the burt's bees blemish stick. In one day they'll be gone!

Putting ice on your pimples will make the redness and size go down. What is your skin. Care routine? And for your stomach if you want to shave the hairs go right ahead!

I wouldn't recommend shaving the hairs. I think Codi's idea of bleaching seems to be the best option.

As for the pimples, DO NOT pick at or touch them. Cover them with makeup (even if you aren't going out) so you resist the temptation to pop them. At night, get some antibiotic ointment (neosporin) and apply to the pimples with band aids over them. That's what I do so that they heal faster.

Best of luck!

Thank you Sarah! My skincare routine consists of coconut oil to remove makeup, normally either a cleanser (Olay) or a St. Ives scrub for exfoliation and then St. Ives Timeless Moisturizer. My skin has been clear up to this point, I think it's possibly due to stress from graduation, an upcoming surgery, etc. Thank you for the advice!

Thank you Hannah! Does anyone have recommendations for a bleaching kit?

No problem. I've had lots of experience with those little suckers in the past. The kind that rise beneath your skin are such a pain! If you don't pick at them, they are so much easier to cover with makeup and they heal in as short as 3 days!

Thank you Hannah! I haven't picked at them at all, I can just feel them when I move my face lol :)

I agree with bleaching or if you have a high pain tolerance I use one of those twisty coil spring hair removers. I have a very hairy father who unfortunately gave me a lot of very dark haired areas (blessing and a curse). So I use it on my face and my stomach. I usually just sit on the couch watching TV and I'll roll it all over my stomach. It hurts at first but you get used to it.

Another thing that can help your pimples is tea tree oil! It has a very potent smell but it does wonders for the skin and is a very versatile product. If you have an Ulta nearby The Body Shop has a whole line of products with tea tree oil. You can also find regular old tea tree oil at Walmart. I originally bought it to get rid of a keloid that was starting to form on one of my piercings, but it can be used to get rid of painful acne and even in your hair. I highly recommend it

An incredibly quick way is to dry it out using Hydrogen Peroxide. It's simple because people usually have it already in their home.

Benzac Acne Cream is amazing for pimples, blackheads, etc.
It actually made my cystic acne less inflated (which is aweeeesome)
