Is it safe to do your own acrylic nails at home? I've watched tons of videos on how to do it. How long does acrylic stay on? And how do you get them off?

I've had a friend do mine (at home) they stayed on till I took them off which was about a week and I went to Walmart and they hear this thing to soak your nails to get them off.

For me I have to get mine filled every 3-4 weeks. It depends how fast your nails grow. They soak your nails in acetone (I think I'm not 100% positive about that ) to get them off. And I never done my own acrylics because I suck at doing my nails
