A good all around serum that I use (I have two brands to suggest) three times a week ( or depending on how my skin is behaving) I reach for a 17% glycolic acid serum that I apply before my evening moisturizer that is non-active. This helps fade any acne scars, smooths out any fine lines that pop up and keep hyperpigmentation under control. Peter Thomas Roth has one that is 10% while the one I use and have been using for two years is from Renee Rouleau ( you can find her online). With this one you want to make sure you use a moisturizing spf of at least 15. And a good non-active moisturizer is one that is fragrance free and basic without a whole bunch of goodies in it like anti-aging ingredients.
