See I was very skinny and now I look at myself no matter how lil or hard I work out I don't lose weight. I think it was the iron pills I had to take for my blood why i gained weight... And I got Married too so birth control with lots of estrogen didnt help it made me very hungry.I basically need help with this it's an issue that constantly bothers me it sucks when I hear my family say I've gained weight.. Please give me tips on how to keep weight off and how to maintain it thank you!

I hear you. This happens to all of us. The best thing to do is just quantity control. Also keep in mind that if you are an active person who works out or exercises regularly, that muscle ways three times more than fat.

I don't think that it would be due to the iron pills but the birth control could have definitely been a factor. The best thing you can do is just eat healthily and exercise regularly. Specifically cardio e.g. running, swimming, aerobics, zumba etc. Stay away from fad diets and detoxes. I have friends that have tried them and although they might produce fast results as soon as the diet/detox is over then the weight piles back on. Eat a healthy, balanced diet and keep meal times regular. It's good to eat 5 small meals a day. Breakfast, a small snack, lunch, another small snack and dinner. And yes like Abba said, portion control is important!

If your birth control is bloating you, you need to switch to a birth control with a different hormone formulation or use other methods such as condoms. Iron pills will not make you gain weight as far as I know.
If you KNOW you're overeating, you need to start snacking on small portions of low-cal, low-carb foods and drinking plenty of ice water outside of regular meal times. Make sure that your regular meals are nutritionally balanced and take a multivitamin (which IMO everyone should do regardless).

Thank you ladies I will do all of the above I actually already got a birth control that contains less estrogen, apparently my doctor said that this has an effect of making you hungry, hopefully with this change and proper exercise and diets I will do ok^_^ but Ty all very much seriously feels good to finally have someone to talk about it who takes me seriously.
