So I have dry skin, and now that its winter, my skin has become even more dry. I haven't had clear skin in a good 2 or 3 years and I'm only 15! I mainly have it on my chin and forehead, but it's started to spread onto my cheeks. I broke down today and I'm setting up a dermatologist appointment, but does anyone have good facial washes to help acne? Especially for dry skin? Thank you so much

Use a gentle one (philosophy purity/ Fresh soy cleanser/ Cetaphil), an "for acne" cleanser doens't help much but dry you out, it it only stay on your skin for a few mins so it really cannot do much but to clean. Treat acne with lotion/ moisturizer that has benzoyl/ salicylic acid, which actually stays on your skin & penetrates, good one is La roche posay effaclar duo which has BOTH benzoyl & salicylic acid! Then layer your fav moisturizer, cannot skip since you have dry skin + using acne treatment. Good Luck!
