Tape-to-clip in extensions..?

I have 2 full sets of tape in extensions (each "weft" is 1.5 or 2 inches), but I don't feel like having them bonded to my hair again right at the moment. Does anyone know or had anyone ever tried sewing clips onto tape extensions? I'm not sure how it would work 'cause the weft binding is different, or because it might still be sticky. If anyone's done this or has advice please let me know.

I haven't tried the tape on extensions but I'm guess their the same as clip in ones but glued I had clip in before and sometime they weren't comfortable when I would do a pony tail or ect.., so now I just bought the micro loop ones and they are really comfortable feels like it was your own hair super easy to put on would recommend it to anyone.. Anyways hop it helps that's if you don't want it to show you have the tape
