Short Nails Problem...

Ok so I'm a musician, I play piano and harp, and (especially for harp) I have to have very short nails (they catch on the strings otherwise...) but I don't like the ways my hands look to begin with and so I'd like to have something pretty and yet subtle on my nails... (No blacks or greens or anything...) I do concerts so I'm just looking for something sophisticated and pretty that I could so at home, on short nails, that won't be too heavy... (No rhinestones...) see my dilemma? I have ridiculously limited options... And ideas? :/
