Winterball is this Saturday.
Que dramatic music. I have everything picked out. Dress, shoes, everything. One problem: oily skin, makeup, and dancing in a crowded room is a toxic combination. I know to use mattifying powder, primers, etc. but wanted to know if there is anything specific that works for you (ways to apply them, products, general tips, anything really). I'd like to go to the dance not looking like an icky greaseball, so even if you don't think you can help much please offer any info you can. Thanks!

Make sure you cleanse and tone your skin before applying anything. Use a very light moisturizer, as to not strip your skin completely. Apply a primer (oil free) and let that "cook" or sink into the skin before applying anything else. If possible use a setting spray (UD De-Slick or All Nighter) then apply a matte, oil free foundation and blot. Then apply powder and another layer of setting spray. Like Nicole said, blotting sheets are your friend! Bring a few to soak up any oil, and if that isn't possible just use a tissue! As for eyes, I say waterproof mascara, eye primer, and on top of your shadows I LOVE the Elf Lock and Seal!! (Only $3!!) be sure to have fun and I hope this helps! Xo
