I just read an article in allure about the flower line and I'm dying to check it out if my fiancé will let me near the cosmetics aisle in Walmart and I will FREAK if hard candy is discontinued

No, The brand isn't being discontinued but they are phasing out some products and adding new ones. So I need to get a few things before they're goneee.

I just picked up a lipstick from Flower and I already really like it. I'm not huge on lipstick but as of late I've been wanting to change up my makeup routine so I've been trying out some. I'll post some pictures below for you ladies!

Here are some of my first impressions:
It appears to be long-wearing. I've only had it for a few hours now but wore it out to a cafe and drank a smoothie and ate a bit and there was still a lot of color left on my lips. It is definitely matte as advertised. It seems to only go where you put it, which is great. Even my boyfriend said the product seemed to sit on my lips very nicely. Its nicely pigmented, and doesn't have much of a scent at all, just a very faint lipstick smell....I hope that makes sense lol. Overall I'm very pleased so far and will be going back for some more. I think I'll try one of the high shine lipsticks next time. The only con I would say this has it it may be a bit drying, the texture is definitely on the dry side so I would put on a little balm before or some gloss on top. I would have maybe gotten another item or two but they seemed to only have a small endcap for the line. But at the same time I really don't need anything else at the moment as far as makeup goes.

Swatch on my hand, top is 1-2 swipes and bottom is layered a bit more. So the coverage can be adjusted to what you'd prefer.

And I know, it seems to be hard to really see any swatches because its so new. I almost got a red shade instead, but decided to go with the pink. I may get the red the next time though. I can't wait until they get a bigger display. I'm not usually a drugstore makeup lover, I've spoiled myself with high end products, lol, but I'm really loving this so far. If the rest is like the lipstick I may become obsessed ha.
Bottom line is I think Miss Barrymore did a fantastic job!

PS just in case nobody has found this online, Walmart has a lot of the products on their website. = P The "About-Face Foundation with Primer" looks like it has amazing potential.

I think next time if they have the BB cream I'll try it. I don't like BB creams much but I think this brand has the potential to make a good one. Or at least one I wouldn't mind trying. The Walmart I went to didn't have any face products. They had a lot of the nail polishes, some eyeliners, mascaras and then the high shine lipsticks, and the lip butters. But as Cameron said there's a good bit of the products on Walmart's site.

I just purchased my very first Hard Candy product on a whim over the weekend...a lip plumping gloss. It is very pretty and there were a lot of colors to choose from, but I have to apply a lot if it and apply frequently. Was so disappointed. :( I would love to try some of the Flower lip butters...don't go to Walmart often but will be on the lookout!

Tanya, me too! all the lip products were covered and I'm so mad because that's what I most wanted to try! and they didn't have any face products. I made another post about it but got no replies however my fiance bought me the nail polish in fanatical botanical. I love the packaging and how all the names are after a flower! so cute. I was looking for a nude or light pink to wear to my courthouse wedding in a couple weeks plus I love nude shades of nailpolish.. but this color was super streaky :-(! I had high hopes for it but it still looked bad imo over other nude color nailpolishes. it looked good from far away but not so good up close. does anyone know if Walmart will let me exchange this for a different color??
