Straight vs my natural curly hair?

Hey everyone! I cut my hair in a short bob about a year ago. I now want to grow it out. I know too much heat is a no-no, but it's so time consuming dealing with my curls every single morning. To get maximum growth and health, should I continue to straighten it or just leave it curly? Thanx!
