I've just bought heated rollers and i was wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks on how to use them? :)

just be sure they are completely cool before removing them from your hair; if not, your curls will be deflated and much of your hair will not really curl. Also, if you have very large ones, sometimes its nice to roll the very top or top two layer(s) at your part, just to give your hair a little more body there. :) Have fun! Experiment!
