I died my hair with some hair dye by L'Oreal and it completely faded within 3 weeks. It was a permanent hair dye and it didn't even stay.. I want to dye my hair darker again and I need a really good hair dye. Any recommendations?

Remember that using store bought dyes are EXTREMELY hard to remove or lighten up (in case you want to go lighter during the summer). I had the same issue where I wasn't satisfied with the color because it faded so I went darker. I loved the dark color but when Summer rolles around and I wanted to go lighter... It was a disaster. For one it was very expensive and did A LOT of damage to my hair and basically by the time I got it to the color I wanted it was fall. lol goodluck though! if that's your natural color in the pic, it's gorgeous!

you should go get it done professionally! and if you can't because of cost then I really don't think you should dye it again. I kept dying my hair with home dyes and ended up with just loads of different shades in my hair.. it was AWFUL. so then I finally had the sense to go to the hairdressers and I had to get my hair completely stripped of all the colours I'd used and then dyed professionally. this cost over £100! that did the job and I was very happy with my colour but even after I had to go back like every month to get my roots done which was costing like £30 a month. in the end my mum just refused to keep paying for it and since my parents are the only source of money for me I had to let it grow out. it is now growing out and has kinda faded and everyone tells me it looks cool.. kinda like its been dip dyed darker. but yeah im glad I went through the whole experience and learned my lesson but seriously, don't dye your hair unless you can afford to get it done professionally and keep going back to get your roots done. PS, it also damages your hair quite a bit!
