I know that NARS is owned by Shiseido which tests on animals, but prior to being acquired NARS was always cruelty free and their foundations, powders, and concealers and some, but not all blushes, are vegan. As someone with dark skin (NW47) it is hard to find vegan foundation in my colour. Anyway, anyone try this stuff? Is it good for oily skin? How is the coverage? I'm going to Sephora after work and going to test it out. Anyone know any other vegan, or at least cruelty free foundations in dark colours?

Kat Von D is cruelty free. Right now all the light colors are sold out until they restock. There is rumor that they will reformulate, but I love this foundation.. I can't wait til my color comes back in stock!!
