What is you like best for yourself? You shouldn't have to subject yourself to pleasing the opposite sex. Go with what you like and what makes you feel confident. :)

I find that my guy friends love when I wear vanilla-candy-cake smelling perfume even though I myself prefer floral clean smells

Umm most boys do not like perfume, they like a clean natural smell. Not all chemicals. Try a nice smelling soap.

My husband likes sweet and fruity smells. And I do as well.. So it works :) we are both happy .
