I used a thin paintbrush to paint black lines on my nails and then I filled it in with different color polish. Should I do his again? Are they good?

It's nice, but I would of picked different colours! I'm from Australia and its summer at the moment so I would of done brighter yellows, oranges, greens, blue and pink with white lines instead of black! But they look cool (:

Completely unrelated, but I stumbled on a blog based in New Zealand and wondered for a second if they'd gone off or something because everything was summer. Then it hit me. It's summer on that side of the planet. Duuuuuh.

i would suggest doing one colour scheme like either all warm colours ie red yellow orange pink or cool colours ie green blue purple turquoise just my opinion tho

If you do little spots of colors that are in certains(as mentioned above) then go over them with black it looks better. Just an opinion :)
