HELP! i have a huge cold soar and it is soo disgusting. what are some home remedies to get rid of it? i can't go to the store till tomarrow so i need somthing i can use thatd be in my home already..

tea tree oil is great it really helped me. just don't get it in ur mouth or on ur nose bc it has a really strong smell. I also heard lysine supplements prevents the virus from replicating and some people take it daily to prevent a flare up. there is really nothing you can so but wait until it heals. my Dr gave me a prescription which you take immediately when you feel your lip is getting itchy and the cold sore won't even pop up.

When you go to the store, get medicated carmex! Literally makes cold sores dissappear annnnd makes your lips feel amazing! Hope it goes away soon!

abreva always works if I get a cold sore. You have to make a trip to the store tho.
