Everyone has different coverage and finish needs to achieve a "flawless" complexion when it comes to foundation. Do you want a matte/semi-matte/satin/dewy finish to your foundation? Do you need sheer/light/medium/heavy coverage? Is your skin allergic to fragrances, sunscreens, talc? Are you breakout prone?
Otherwise people are just going to be recommending their favorite foundations, which may not always be the best choice for you! lol

Chanel Mat Lumiere or Boots No. 7 Lifting and Firming are both really similar and really good. They give medium coverage with a soft matte finish.
Lancome Teint Idole Ultra is a medium coverage foundation that has a matte finish and is really long lasting.
MUFE HD Foundation provides medium coverage, but is more of a satin-matte finish. You could always dust it with a loose powder to enhance the matte finish.

If it's light to medium coverage you want then try a bb cream. You can build it to full coverage if you want. Cheaper options are maybelline or L'oreal. Smashbox, urban decay, Bobbi brown, and too faced have them also.
