My friend and I are going to look at dresses for her. It is a formal dance and I have no idea what style of dress would look good on her. She is extremely skinny and tall. I'd appreciate any suggestions

Any dress that can give her some curves! She may want to opt for a short style and some flats since she's tall, or she can embrace her long legs and show them off with heels. It all comes down to trying on different styles to see what she likes best and then looking for specific features.
