How can you learn more about cosmetology without being in Cosmo school?

You could try buying one of the new cosmetology books that Milady puts out. They've got some good deals on them on Amazon.

You can also take classes at your local trade school/vocational center. Im a 25 yr hairstylist. They have lots of different classes for the novice. :)

Go to your local bookstore or library and look for Milady. Also YouTube has tons of videos on cosmetology. I have about a month to go and I will be finished with school.

The salon I work at offers an apprentice program. It is hairschool without the price tag. You can get your license at the end of reaching your hours. You don't pay a cent to which is the nice part.
