Oh well before you start jog a bit... Push ups will help you no matter what posstition you are! I'm a flyer and they helped me get stronger and hang drills. Curl ups are a good exercise for you core and can help in many ways. We do lemon squeezers at the gym I've found those helpful too!! If you need anymore tell me I can think of so many!!

Mix it up! Don't stick with the same routine over and over again.. Make sure you do cardio, I make my girls sing while they run to keep up their stamina.. Try Pilates.. Remember to keep your heart rate up and do as many reps as you can but at the end of it all STRETCH

horizontal running lol no. I am a cheerleader and my team and I always run laps, or just jog. always stretch before practice. we do jumps, splits, butterfly, etc

Squats and leg stuff. I was a base and since i had so much muscle on my legs, indidnt use my back to push the flyers up. Stretch allot to and just run and lift weights
