Have any of you ever had a nose job? If so what was it like ? How long did it seem?

I've had one. You're unconscious for the surgery so you don't notice the time maybe a couple of hours pass. You wake up and swallowing is really difficult at first. You have packing gauze in your nasal passages for about a week (think tampons with straws in the center). It feels really weird when they remove those and your nose bleeds like crazy at the dr's office. You face to wear a nose guard and bandages at first and then eventually, only at night. Your nose is puffy along the bridge and you usually have varying degrees of black eyes the first few days. It's about 2 weeks of recoup. Week one being very fragile and mostly in bed watching tv or movies. Week 2 you're definitely up and about, but you have to be careful. You have to be careful for awhile especially if the re-set any bone.

I think my main advice is to figure out why you want a nose job. It probably won't come out perfect after surgery, are you going to just end up focusing on those flaws? Because trust me, you don't end up with the perfect nose. You're still going to look like yourself so if you have an issue with that, then a nose job isn't going to make you feel better.

@sarah .P , the surgery is to if my nose like I remove the bump on it & to help me breath better of course because I really can't breath well my nose is always stuffy since I was 4 & I can't even smell . That's why I'm getting the surgery but I'm just really scared of how it's goin to b or if its really painful
