Can woman of color get microdermabrasion or a chemical peel done?

I've had both done by my dermo and since we are so susceptible to scarring its very important to find a reputable dermo or ethesician to do either one of these services who has experience dealing with WOC. Both has to be on the light side and nothing too heavy in concentration the first go around. I personally liked the chemical peel because I had more lasting results. As with both treatments you will have to religiously use a moisturizing spf of at least 30 or else you will experience some darkening of the skin and using a super gentle cleanser for the first couple days.
