how long should you keep makeup brushes

As long as you upkeep hygiene and they aren't frayed: forever! I've had my foundation brush for about 15 years now!

Yes, as long as you take good care of them, they should last a lifetime

Like Pixie said they should last a very long time. My mom just told me today? She has had the same blush brush for over 30 years, and the thing is still going strong!

If you want them to work for you then you must clean them constantly! I know I lack on this sometimes but a brush cleaning regiment is super important for your skin as well :)

My very first set is I picked up over 10 years ago and they still look brand new. My secret....I clean them thoroughly once a week with fragrance free baby shampoo. I dry them over the edge of any table so they received adequate ventilation for drying (mildew is death to your brushes) and I store them in a drawer as oppossed to leaving them out on the vanity to collect dust.

I'm using Revlon's foundation brush and I really like it, its soft, just the right size and glides on nice and evenly

I wash mine with baby shampoo and dry them with plenty of ventilation over night. Be very gentle with your brushes. Never submerge the whole brush. EVER!

I've had mine for 8 years and counting!
