Makeup for ever has an incredible lip stain. I didn't even have to use the gloss that comes with it. It truly wears like a satin lipstick and lasted hours! Colors are limited but worth the 24.00----sephora

Long-wearing lip colors are intrinsically drying. Chances are you won't find one that is both hydrating and long wearing unfortunately.

I found success with Hourglass liquid lipstick...even after removal my lips dont experience that tight dry feeling. Bobbi Brown also released a new long wear lippie line late last year and I have the same result....no dry, tight feeling lips. Both are super pigmented and very opaque.

I love Rimmel's Lasting Finish Lipstick!! It's AMAZING!! And as far as lip glosses are concerned, I really like Buxom's Big & Healthy Lip Polish! It has this awesome tingly feeling when you apply it that I love!! It's pretty long wearing, and I really like it because it doesn't dry out. I'm always reapplying chap stick, which can be a problem with lipstick, but when I'm wearing this lip gloss I don't need to reapply my chap stick.

MAC Prolongwear or MUFE. LimeCrime lipsticks have an awesome staining effect due to the rich pigments & obbsessive compulsive cosmetics has lip tars with a good stain of pigment too! Plus a teeny drop goes a long way!
