I found Revlon Colorstay to be really heavy on my skin and the coverage wasn't coverage but just a cake face. But whipped sounds better than liquid.

Colorstay has more coverage, but I feel like Whipped is a better product. OG Colorstay is like glue & is hard to work with while Whipped is more user friendly & is more natural.

whipped still probably has decent coverage though right?

Yes, whipped definitely has a decent coverage. It's just not full as original Colorstay. It's medium coverage & VERY buildable. Since it's more of a Satin finish, you can layer it without it looking cakey or too heavy. It's honestly my favorite ^_^
