It's a messy bun, they never turn out exactly the same every time. Start with textured hair, like 2nd or 3rd day thats been curled. Maybe even add some pomade to it as well, and then just play with your hair and see how it turns out

Hers is pinned at random. That's the only way to get it textured like that all the way through...it's not just twisted in a coil. Take my word for it.

These instructions are going to assume you're right handed...
Place a pony tail holder over your right hand and gather your hair like you're going to put it up in a regular high pony tail.
Pull the hair halfway through so you have a "loop"... but don't pull hair all the way through like you would with an actual pony. (your left hand should be holding the ponytail holder on the underside of the loop).
Use the top of your left hand to support the "tail" of the loop (your left hand should be pointing straight down the back of your head) and the hair should be pressed to the back of your head by the back of your left hand.
Twist your hand (with your trapped underneath it) in a counter clockwise motion, allowing the hair to move with it, until the tips of your hair are facing upward, (imagine a horses tail swinging counter clockwise until it points up to the sky).
Grab your hair with your left hand into a "bun" and with your right hand pull the rubber band over the "bun."
Hopefully you can figure it out with those crappy instructions... it's really easy once you get it down. It's also how I wear my hair every time I want to just get it out of the way but still have that messy-cute look!

Put your hair in a pony tail then take individual pieces and loosely twist them and pin them to your head.
