Purples, maroons, burgandys, pinks and browns. Take colors opposite if what's on the color wheel. I have green eyes and love playing then up.

I have green eyes and the colours that complement them most is browns, Taupes, golds, etc.
I love the urban decay naked pallet. It's $50 but great to start out because it have every shade you would ever need to start out.

Becky is spot on red is the commentary color to green so anything in the red family like golds coppers etc...

Teals and plums in mattes or shimmers. Also, grey tones with shimmer are good. But to be honest with you, if you can apply your makeup well, you can work with any color. I've learned this myself.

Defenitly purples and golds and brownish color dont go with the cold color like pink or blue!
