I use loreal true match foundation but my skin has been very dry lately and looking dull and lifeless. I moisterize & use primer before I apply it but I feel like my foundation looks flat. I have a liquid highlighter from Australis, if I mix them together do you think it would make my foundation look more glowy? Or any other ideas to help my skin look fresher & less dry? I like true match and usually my skin isn't this blah.. So I don't really want to change foundations. :)

I have used the nude by nature illuminator over my foundation but never mixed. I will have to try that too. Thanks! 😄

You could do that, yes. If it doesn't work for you, I recommend Hard Candy Illuminating Primer or a luminescent powder :) Xx

I wouldn't mix the highlighter with your foundation. I would apply the highlighter on the upper parts of your cheeks and on the nose a little. Because that will make the features stand out because they are highlighted but I think mixing the foundation with highlighter might make up too shiny, if you know what I mean :) or change your foundation to loreal lumi or something like that. Not sure of the exact name though! :)

Or use Estée Lauder EE which is very luminous! :)

Maybelline has a new primer that illuminates your skin (I use it) and it works very nicely.

I think you could also put some highlighter on before your foundation, therefore it wouldn't compromise the color of your foundation. It might look strange if your whole face is shiny (but you should try it anyway, because I don't really know). If that doesn't work, a better solution is to counteract the darker tones in your skin with some yellowish-tinted (not too yellow) primer. Basically, whatever color your dark tones are, look at a color wheel and prime your face with a primer of the opposite color. Follow with foundation, concealer, and highlighter.

Hey guys - I used my loreal true match mixed with palmers cocoa butter moisturising day cream and it made my foundation look ALOT more natural and my skin feels soft. It didn't compromise the colour of my foundation however it did make it quite sheer. Great for no-makeup type makeup :)

With dermalmd glowing serum I can feel like it evens out my skin tone and makes my skin more luminous. A bottle lasts me about three months. It's pricey but I have tried other retinol treatments and have been disappointed.
