I'm not a skin care expert but dark spots can definitely be lightened without bleach. I know that from experience. but hopefully Shelley or Traci and can give you advice on that. I know vitamin c is helpful

I've been wanting to try that Loreal corrector.

I really recommend Vitamin E Oil for fading dark spots. I had some that I never thought would disappear (had them for like two years) but I started mixing 1-2 drops of vitamin e with my moisturizer and now my skin looks great! I've been doing this for about two years now and it has also helped with dryness. I buy my oil (I've only bought 2 bottles, and I use it twice a day, so it last forever) at CVS where the vitamins are, I believe the brand is Radiance.

Both by paulas choice is what I used - their vitamin c serum and the 2% BHA but you can choose the percent or BHA vs AHA based on your skin type - they have tips on their website for which ones to choose.
