I'd say brushes! You can't go wrong with who wins them since they aren't for certain skin types, color etc. A lot of people lack in that department for their makeup stash.

Depends on your $$ limit. I think some eyeshadows lipgloss and maybe a stippling brush would be nice

Brushes,lipstick,eyeshadow, and eyeliner I'd say have a theme though like it could be a gold, black, and silver for New Years. Or all pink for breast cancer awareness
