I heard that Greek yogurt has a bunch of skin benefits. has anyone tried it? and what does it do? does it moisturize?

You can use Greek yogurt on your face as an esthetician I usually suggest against diy face masks and products but make sure it's sugar free and plain. I'm at work now but I'll explain what it does for you afterwards.

Do it with plain yogurt, its good for exfoliation and moisturising and I would recommend mixing it either with some lemon for extra exfoliation and brightening or with honey for healing and moisturising;)

Just remember that everyone's skin reacts to products differently and although many diys can be quite harmful yogurt can be very beneficial (that & oatmeal are some of the few diys I'll use) yogurt can help with acne because it has anti fungal &anti bacterial properties. I don't have acne but it also contains lactic acid which is beneficial for aging and helping to renew your skin & dissolve dead skin cells. it can also help renew your skin from environmental factors and even your skin tone.
@Neslisah lemon is not good for your face at all so I wouldn't recommend it to someone. Lemon is too acidic (pH of 2) your skins pH level should be between 4.5 to 5.5 and when you put products that will alter your skins pH level you can destroy its acid mantle as well as it being very irritating and can cause discoloration as well as cause a chemical burn on your face. When your skins acid mantle is broken down its more susceptible to bacteria and can then cause acne, infections and affect the overall health of your skin.

Sarah could I mix it with oatmeal?I don't have ance just slight hormonal acne that isn't bad at all. but I do suffer from horrible dry skin especially since the weather is changing. do you think this will help it slightly and how many times would you recommend it?

Yes you absolutely could, that's what I do. It feels great on my dry skin! I'd recommend it twice a week and leave on about 15 minutes and see how your skin feels at that point. I do it more than twice a week sometimes and never experience any issues but I'd start at twice a week.

Oh & yes to your answer for dry skin, it will help. it will neutralize your skins pH level which is good because dry and irritated skin has a higher pH level so keeping our skins pH level where it should be is extra important to keep an eye on for us with dry skin. It will help lock in moisture and you can also use it in your baths which I do as well because I also suffer from eczema and dry skin all over of course. I would just pay close attention to your skin when ever you try something new and if you feel this is working for you then you may also use oatmeal as a cleanser mixed with water every morning or night. I use clinical colloidal oatmeal but if not just make sure it's plain oatmeal and you can keep it as is or grind it up.
