Does anyone use this on their face? What benefits have you noticed? Does it help w blackheads?

Be very very careful. Apple cider vinegar is very acidic and burns skin easily. I use it on occasion on my acne but I dilute it with water. It does reduce the size of some blemishes.

Definitely dilute it. I used it as a toner for a while, 1:4 ratio with water or green tea. It helped redness and took off any residue I missed. But I started medication that made my skin drier, so I stopped using ACV and just used green tea or a store bought one for dry skin.

I only use it in conjunction with the Aztec Clay Mask for my once a month deep pore purge. Or use it only as a spot treatment if its warranted. Melanie is correct...it is highly acidic...and if used incorrectly can cause more harm than good. When mixed with the clay mask (which comes in a powder form) it definitely cleans out my pores making them look non-existent.

Apple Cider Vinegar is actually very good for your skin if used correctly. The biggest benefit is has is that it's a ph balancer which is more important than people think. If your skin has a proper ph then it can fight off lots of harmful bacteria that can cause acne, eczema, etc. When you use it you must dilute it 1:4 ratio with water or tea. I wouldn't say it helps blackheads but over time it should make you break out less. I recommend what Shelley suggested about using it with a mask.

Ooohhhh I have some Aztec healing clay I've been meaning to try for my pores. But I'm so terrified it's going to make me break out.

@Ashli...what I did to see if I would have a negative reaction is that I made a small amount and placed some just behind my ear and waited. Removed it and then the next day I saw that I didn't have a nasty reaction. Now as far as the mask itself...on the face...it did make me very red but it subsided after about an hour. And did bring junk to the surface but after a couple of uses I stopped experiencing that and now I just rely on it to keep my pores clean and catch the random blackhead that decides to lay claim on my face.

@Shelley you said you use the mask monthly?? Do you use the Aztec healing clay as well?? I have a huuuuuuge tub of it and it has not been touched yet... But now per your advice I will do a small test area. How much clay to vinegar do you usually use??

@Ashli...I switch it up. Sometimes I use it once a month or every other month...depending on what my skin is doing. I usually stick to about two to three tablespoons of Aztec Healing Clay Mask and one tablespoon of ACV. Just enough for it to be thick but thin enough to spread on the face with a synthetic paint brush that I get from Michael's.
