What is a good way to remove makeup? I've been using lotion to get it off then washing my face but I think the lotion breaks me out considering I already have very oily skin. Any good makeup removing wipes or creams or washes that will help me gently and EFFECTIVELY remove my makeup. I do wear a good bit of eye makeup so if you could find one that removes thick coats of mascara that would be wonderful!

I like to use Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water - a few drops on a cotton pad. It is hypoallergenic and has no harsh chemicals in so might be a better option in terms if breaking you out. Totally removes eye make up as well x

I use Burt's Bees makeup remover wipes. They have a clean smell and remove makeup very well. I also wear a great deal of eye makeup so I know;)

I actually used the elf makeup remover wipes because I ran out of my original wipes, and they weren't that bad and took off mainly all my makeup (including coats of mascara) and they weren't rough at all.
I was surprised because I don't like the elf brand.

What type of lotion did you use? Also I've never heard of people using lotion to remove makeup.
I like Neutrogena's wipes and eye makeup remover but my all time fave is bioderma

I use Lancaster 'softening cleansing foam'. I just apply it all over my face and then I take a shower and rinse it off. After my shower I use a tonic and my makeup is all gone.
