Thick or thin hair, dry shampoo should work.

Try a lot of it's not working, my hair is super thick, and I never understood dry shampoo until one day I went over board on it, now it's a savior!!

You could also try a clarifying shampoo. Or just new shampoo in general. I have a fairly oily scalp, and if I use one shampoo for too long it stops working. Maybe try a new one? I usually keep 2-3 shampoos in rotation, it helps keep greasiness at bay.

What everybody said above, especially with dry shampoo is right! Also, once a month I will massage baking soda into my hair and rinse it out. I've found it helps clear out the "gunk" from product. Also, make sure you're only putting conditioner on the ends of your hair!
