Curling iron will be the quickest and last the longest but you could also try a moose or spray that you just spray on your hair and grab your hair in a fist and hold it for a few seconds and it will come out like a messy beach curl/wave :)

I would say either moose if you don't want to use heat and it your after looser curls that straighteners and tight curls I would use curlers

Another fun way to create loose curls is to wash it, part into sections, put either moose or styling gel on each section (which ever works best for your hair) and twist your hair into spiral-like cones. Thick creates loose waves with tons
