Are you asking about a vitamin e pill or using the oil on your skin?

Vitamin e being used topically is very good for moisturizing and fading new scars. A Vitamin e supplement taken orally doesn't really do major benefits to the skin but it does have many benefits to prevent heart attacks and high blood pressure. On the flip side though it can sometimes make people more prone to heart attacks if you've had one in the past but it's still unlikely. If you're eating a balanced diet of fruits, veggies, etc. then you really don't need to take a vitamin e supplement unless instructed by your doctor if you have a deficiency.
One thing you may want to consider is taking evening primrose oil supplements. It has amazing benefits for your skin and can overtime fight eczema and other skin irritants on your skin. The side effects are very minimal however when it comes to taking any sort of supplement please consult your doctor. It can also be used topically if you break open the capsules.

No I'm talking about taking it as a supplement. My doctor suggested both vitamin e and c. I do already eat a balanced died pretty much but I'm very into fitness and have recently upped workouts so I'm working out 6 days a week cardio and muscle training and my doctor told me these supplements can help with replenishing and performance. I just didn't know if certain supplements break you out like some foods do.

Hmmm I haven't heard much about these supplement being linked to huge benefits to working out, I guess you learn something new everyday :p Vitamin C is very good in helping torn muscles and they're both good antioxidants. I tried googling it but I'm only really finding articles leaning more towards mens fitness. All supplements have a chance of causing you to break out. If you already have enough of the vitamin in your body and then you're adding more then you may break out around your mouth area or possibly other areas of your body. I personally take vitamin c but I do not take it everyday and I find it helps boost my immune system.
