How long should I let grow out before I try to reshape?

You'll know when you're happy with the way they look. Be patient though because when they're growing in it'll be patchy and not look the best but resist the tweezers!!

If you are going to use a product I'd suggest castor oil. Otherwise just don't touch them until they look full. If castor oil can grow back people's edges it will most likely work on eyebrows as long as the follicles are still healthy :)

No oil can grow hair. If it could, nobody would be bald. Oils can condition the hair, but it can also clog pores and cause more harm than good to the follicles, and the skin on top.
Just don't pluck them for 2-3 months. Throw away tweezers or hide them. Then reshape them.

And please don't put vaseline on your face. It's petroleum, and has zero conditioning, moisturizing or really any benefits. It also just makes a breeding ground for bacteria to stick to, on your face. It also clogs pores really bad and can cause ingrown hairs, cystic acne, etc.

Alyx is spot on. Castor oil nor any other oil are magical hair growth products.

And I personally, wouldn't put Vaseline anywhere near my eyes.

I've been using Latisse for 4 weeks. It's FDA approved for eyelash growth, but it's used off label for eyebrows as well. I can see a difference already and it takes up to 16 weeks for full results. I had already tried just letting them grow naturally, but that didn't really change anything. Mine were pretty thin from years of waxing when thinner eyebrows were in style. It's nice to see some sparse areas finally fill in and I'm hoping the full results are much better!

Not trying to argue but there are cases where castor oil has regrown hair especially after damage from chemical processing. Some people's follicles are damaged so therefore the hair cannot grow back. Also oil doesn't condition, it locks in moisture.

After over tweezing for many of years I starting to use (4 months now) a mixture of castor oil, almond oil, vitamin e, and rosemary oil. I am starting to see eyebrows where I didn't have any they are thin but they are there.
