This is ages ago though I don't usually curl my hair for the above reason.

Molly, I prefer using a iron over a wand anyway. Make sure you use a heat protectant and a good hairspray after

Try putting the hairspray on before you curl (along with a heat protectant) in addition to using it after. Spray your whole head, let it dry, brush through it once, curl, spray, let dry, and then finger comb to separate curls.

Or if using heat doesn't curl your hair (like mine) then get some overnight foam curlers :)

Hannah do you use anything else besides a heat protectant and a hairspray? Bc last time I tried to curl my hair with a iron they were all puffy 😣

I agree with Hannah, I prefer a flat iron. I use the 1 inch chi! I use a heat resistant spray then hair spray.

I don't like using flat irons tho coz sometimes it goes all puffy like @rocio said not always but I don't always have a lot of time before school anyway we stArt at 8:30 so I have to be ready by 7:45 to walk

I found a YouTube video that helped me with this problem you want to let your hair dry in the position that it was curled in to pin in up after you take it out of the curling iron. Wait about 30 min then use hairspray and all that. It does take a little bit so I don't suggest doing it before school. Maybe if you have somewhere to go after.

For me, irons work better. I have really fine and soft hair, and wands just make loose, temporary curls. Irons somehow create curls that stay.
