I've always thought that you put on your face makeup before your eye makeup, but recently I've seen a lot of tutorials on face makeup and they do it after the eye makeup. I wasn't sure if this is how you are supposed to do it, or if they're simply doing the face after the eyes for the point of showing how to do the contouring? basically what I'm asking is which should be done first? thanks!

It doesn't matter which you do first, it's whatever you prefer honestly.
I usually do my foundation, eye makeup & then bronzer, powder etc.

It's really up to your personal preference. I have found that doing my eyes last ends up leaving a lot of fallout that's a little more difficult to get off without removing the face makeup. Doing the eyes first just seems like it makes the makeup look a bit neater :) lol.

Yeah agreed! I always do eyes first so I can fix every mistake without messing with foundation!

If you do a strong look on the eyes, it's better to do it before than the face, but if you just apply light shades and/or eye-liner, you can do it after :) it's up to you

Its really up to you and what you prefer. I do mine before my face makeup so I don't get fall out and can fix mistakes.
