Hi guys!
So I've recently been using one of the Sanex 0% shower gels, but I have a feeling it's causing my eczema to flare up. I'm getting lots of red, angry, irritated patches all over my skin, my arms especially. I was wondering if you guys know of any decent shower gels I could try that will be calming? I find my skin doesn't react well to frangrance, and it gets very dry very easily, and is also extremely sensitive - I have very awkward skin!! I'm currently using the E45 body lotion after showering, too. Any help would be suuuuper appreciated!! My skin drives me mad haha!! 😭💕🚿

Try aveeno, they have a line with oatmeal in it. It's super good for sensitive skin, oatmeal calms so it's good for eczema too.
It's weird, but you could also try using your face cleanser. I have super sensitive skin and 99% of body washes break me out in hives. So I use my body shop seaweed cleanser.

I absolutely swear by st Ives oatmeal and Shea butter body wash and lotion. it isn't heavily fragranced and helps soothe and doesn't strip because its a cream form and I am able to retain moisture

I would recommend cetaphil, during Accutane I had mild eczema on my hands and cetaphil cleanser was very gentle for me and calmed my skin. I followed with the moisturizing lotion and my eczema was gone and never came back :)

I have actually suffered from eczema and I have switched to cetaphil in the shower and have also been loving the aveeno eczema lotion (has oatmeal). It's been working for my skin and seems to be working well together, that's what I recommend.

I went to the doctors and asked about this, surprisingly he recommended using Selsun Blue Shampoo on the eczema and it works amazingggg! I was very skeptical at first but it helps so much. Just rub it on and let it sit for a few minutes while you wash other parts of your body. On days where my eczema isn't that bad I use Polysporin Eczema Body Wash.
